Dear Torat Emet Member,
Safety and security has been of increasing concern in the Columbus Jewish community. We are thus honored to invite you to register for CSS's Entry Point training session which has been arranged by Torat Emet's Safety and Security Committee and endorsed by the leadership of our synagogue. This is a one-hour virtual training about the basics of security and how to volunteer to help protect your community.
Topics covered include:
Identifying security threats
Recognizing suspicious activity
The importance of volunteer security
Reducing and responding to threats to your synagogue
How to volunteer to protect your community
This is a standalone program and no background in security is required. The program is open to all ages, genders, physical characteristics, and skill levels. There is no cost to participation and no obligation afterwards.
This live, interactive, and virtual session will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, January 31st, at 7:30 PM EST.
