Parashat Devarim-Shabbat Chazon – August 10, 2019
9:00am - Shabbat Services 11:45am - Kiddush sponsored by Lisa and David Eckmann 12:45pm - Sign up for Lunch if you intend to stay for Mincha
(See sign up above) 1:45pm - Pre-mincha shiur 2:15pm - Mincha 8:35pm - Fast begins 9:19pm - Shabbat ends 9:35pm - Maariv and Eicha at shul followed by abbreviated Havdalah.
There will not be a late mincha or seudat shlishit in Shul. Be sure to eat a substantive seuda shlishit at home and hydrate well before the fast. You must finish eating before 8:35pm. At 9:19pm (Shabbat ends) one should recite Baruch ha-mavdil bein kodesh le-chol – ברוך המבדיל בין קודש לחול. One should change out of their leather shoes immediately and then drive to shul for maariv and Eicha which will begin at 9:35pm. ___________________________________________________________
