Post Pesach Shopping Restrictions from Buckeye Kosher Buckeye Kosher does not recommend purchasing chometz products (including, but not limited to: Bread, Cereals (many), Beer, Couscous, Oatmeal, Pasta, Rolled Oats, Wheat Bran and Wheat Germ) from Giant Eagle for 2 weeks after Passover. Liquor should not be purchased from the Liquor Agency found within Giant Eagle until before Shavuos.
At this time, it is okay to purchase chometz at any other retailer in the Columbus area immediately after Passover. Block's Bagels sold in their own display at the Market District in Bexley are permissible for purchase even right after Pesach.
The High Street Community is a project led by Rabbi Ari Neuman for young professionals looking for meaningful Jewish experiences and fun ways to meet other young Jewish adults. The program's goal is to help its participants learn about Judaism in a way that is exciting, enjoyable, open, and welcoming to others no matter their background. For more information, or to sign up for HSC events and e-mails, please contact Rabbi Neuman at rabbineuman@toratemet.org or call the office at 614-238-6778.
