UNITY DANCE for WOMEN UNITY DANCE for WOMEN Led by Shelly Dembe This Sunday, November 4, 4:00pm to 5:00pm JCC Columbus, Ohio, Schottenstein Room Suggested donation : $10 All proceeds go to the families of the Pittsburgh tragedy
Is there a way to respond to such a tragedy? The best way I know how is to share the belief that there is so much more love and good in the world than hate. When tragedy occurs, we take in so much stress and sorrow into our bodies. Lets release some of that sorrow so that we can continue to do our work in this world; spreading good deeds, looking inside of ourselves, and improving our own character; walking away from gossip, judgment, and anger.
This dance will bring us together to join efforts in becoming stronger, more unified, and to always lead with loving kindness.
Please let us know if you are in need of babysitting.
The OU Women’s Initiative is proud to present the Rosh Chodesh Virtual Lunch ‘n Learn program. The video series takes place each Rosh Chodesh and features a female Torah scholar.
