Torat Emet Tanach Challange! We need you! The Rabbis of Torat Emet are challenging the community to learn all of Tanach from now until Shavuot and we need everyone in the shul to step up and participate! Every year on the holiday of Shavuot we stay up all night learning in anticipation of the moment when we originally received the Torah. For seven weeks leading up to this night we count day by day and week by week preparing for that holy moment in our history. This counting is meant to remind us that we are now in a time of year when growth is our focus. But this year we have an opportunity to join with Torat Emet and learn a little extra as well. It is an opportunity to set an example for our friends and family, that even in our very busy lives we make time to learn Torah. It can even be a project we choose to do with a family member or friend. This is a rare opportunity to grow yourself, with another, and with your community! Sign up using the link below and invite a friend to sign up too! http://hadranalach.com/index.php?action=na_view&id=501&siyum_password=ToratEmet
The High Street Community is a project led by Rabbi Ari Neuman for young professionals looking for meaningful Jewish experiences and fun ways to meet other young Jewish adults. The program's goal is to help its participants learn about Judaism in a way that is exciting, enjoyable, open, and welcoming to others no matter their background. For more information, or to sign up for HSC events and e-mails, please contact Rabbi Neuman at rabbineuman@toratemet.org or call the office at 614-238-6778.
