Note from Rabbi Zack
Dear Friends,
This past week our synagogue and community shone bright with empathy and support for several of our congregants who lost close family members. I am so proud of how we all came together to populate and maintain four daily minyanim, shiva visits, food, and emotional support. I was amazed at how quickly people signed up and kept to their assignments.
These are the moments that define Columbus as a special kind of Jewish community, where the size of our hearts and our souls outweigh the size of our population. This is where our mission statement of Olam Chesed Yibaneh – Building a World of Kindness, finds its fruition and fulfillment. I want to give you all a Yashar Koach and extend our condolences to those who are still dealing with the pain of their loss. Bilah HaMavet L’Netzach.
Shabbat Shalom,
Rabbi Howard Zack

Join the New Chesed Committee! Dear Fellow Congregants,
It would be my privilege to partner with you, the Torah Emet Community, in designing and executing a most holy mission.
It is my hope to work together to build ongoing support for our members in times of sickness, stress and loss through acts of Chesed. As a start, I am asking for volunteers to help design effective strategies to connect our community members with opportunities for service. The range of needs are of course vast, encompassing Bikur Cholim, Meals, Regular Check-ins, Social Action and so much more.
Would you like to get real time Torat Emet notifications, hear about volunteer opportunities, and share cheerful tidings and thoughts with fellow Torat Emet members here and in Israel?
Have meaningful and uplifting social and informational conversations (no politics allowed) with your Torat Emet friends. We look forward to hearing from you.
