Safety & Security Corner
We hope that everyone had a Pesach sameach! It was nice to see so many friends and family at Torat Emet.
We are pleased to welcome all friends and family to our services! From a safety and security perspective, it’s easiest if they come with you to the synagogue. We appreciate, however, that many guests go at their own pace, particularly during the week/Chol HaMoed. It would be helpful to let your guests know about our weekday/Chol HaMoed entry process via the back door. This will help avoid having folks wandering around the building aimlessly pulling on doors, or pushing the call button in the back and then walking away before we can buzz them in. Thank you!
Our Community Security Service (CSS) volunteer team continues to grow. At the same time, we can always use a few more participants! There is still time to register and complete the required on-line training before the in-person training (scheduled for April 23, 2023). As a reminder, the on-line training does NOT need to be completed in a single session: instead, you can do the program in easy-to-manage chunks at your own pace and of your own choosing, and the system will let you pick up where you left off. Please contact Steve Lessnick with any questions, and see the link below for more information.
Thank you to to  for partnering with us to provide our security for Shabbat and Holidays

Post-Pesach Shopping Info from Buckeye Kosher
Chometz that was under Jewish ownership and not sold over Passover is deemed not kosher. As such, Buckeye Kosher does not recommend purchasing chometz products (including, but not limited to: Bread, Cereals (many), Beer, Couscous, Oatmeal, Pasta, Rolled Oats, Wheat Bran and Wheat Germ) from Giant Eagle for 2 weeks after Passover. Liquor should not be purchased from the Liquor Agency found within Giant Eagle until before Shavuos.
At this time, it is okay to purchase chometz at any other retailer in the Columbus area immediately after Passover.
Join the New Chesed Committee! Dear Fellow Congregants,
It would be my privilege to partner with you, the Torah Emet Community, in designing and executing a most holy mission.
It is my hope to work together to build ongoing support for our members in times of sickness, stress and loss through acts of Chesed. As a start, I am asking for volunteers to help design effective strategies to connect our community members with opportunities for service. The range of needs are of course vast, encompassing Bikur Cholim, Meals, Regular Check-ins, Social Action and so much more.
Dont miss out on important Torat Emet updates!  Join Torat Emet's WhatsApp group T.E.amwork!
Would you like to get real time Torat Emet notifications, hear about volunteer opportunities, and share cheerful tidings and thoughts with fellow Torat Emet members here and in Israel?
Have meaningful and uplifting social and informational conversations (no politics allowed) with your Torat Emet friends. We look forward to hearing from you.
If you need assistance in signing onto the WhatsApp Group please contact Rabbi Neuman at rabbineuman@toratemet.org .
