Safety & Security Corner
We hope everyone appreciated the opportunity to hear from Steve Flowers, the Director of Community Safety for JewishColumbus, last week, and to chat with him during kiddush. During his presentation, he noted how important it is for everyone to understand what to do in case of an emergency. This requires planning and training. We are pleased to work with Mr. Flowers, JewishColumbus, and other partners to provide various training opportunities to the Torat Emet community.
Our next training opportunity is in partnership with Community Security Service (CSS) and is called Entry Point. This is a one-hour interactive Zoom webinar open to everyone in the congregation, regardless of age, gender, physical capabilities, or even attendance at services. No background in security is required. This webinar will help you to identify security threats and recognize suspicious behavior. We strongly encourage everyone to sign up for this important opportunity!
Registration is required, and can be found in the email that was sent out to the congregation (link to the email is below).
