High Street Synagogue an Affiliate of Torat Emet
The High Street Community is a project sponsored by Jonathan and Nicole Schottenstein, and led by Rabbi Ari Neuman, for young professionals looking for meaningful Jewish experiences and fun ways to meet other young Jewish adults. The program's goal is to help its participants learn about Judaism in a way that is exciting, enjoyable, open, and welcoming to others no matter their background. Community Announcements
The Columbus Community Mikvah The Men’s Mikvah will be open for use before Yom Kippur with an attendant at the following times:
Erev Yom Kippur (Wednesday, September 15th) 7AM- 9 AM 1 PM- 3 PM 3 PM- 5PM
The attendant will collect the $10 fee and monitor only 2 people entering the building at a time. Please account for wait time in your plans. There will be sanitizing wipes available to use at your discretion. Everyone must bring their own towel.
The Mikvah will be cleaned just before the start of Rosh Hashanah for the safety of those planning to immerse on the holiday.
Anyone wishing to come at a quieter time can make an appointment and pay online in advance.
Women wishing to immerse before the holiday may schedule an appointment by calling 614-239-0838.
Jewish Community Memorial Service SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 4:00 PM At Performance Parkway Cemeteries 2565 Performance Way Columbus, OH 43207
As we enter the New Year, we reflect on the past year and a half, which we have not been able to gather together to comfort each other in your time of sorrow. There will be a community memorial service to acknowledge the loss of those who passed away during this period.
Organized by: Columbus Board of Rabbis, The Columbus Jewish Historical Society and Epstein Memorial Chapel
Parking will be available. You will be directed to parking and the memorial area upon arrival. The service will be outside rain or shine. There will be a tent and seating if you require it.
