Important Covid Message
Dear Members and Friends,
As the Delta variant of the COVID-19 virus continues to spread, we want to share with you the risks and recommendations for attending services and other programs at Torat Emet based on CDC data and guidelines, as well as the recommendation of the City of Bexley.
If you are currently unvaccinated, there is a high risk of infection and serious illness. We recommend that you undergo vaccination immediately. If you are unable or unwilling to be vaccinated then you should strongly consider not coming to shul due to your risk of contracting COVID-19. If you choose to ignore the risks and attend services, then you must mask including during kiddush, wash your hands, and maintain a six foot distance at all times. If you are unvaccinated and unwilling to wear a mask you may not attend services at Torat Emet
If you are currently fully vaccinated there does exist a lower risk of breakthrough infection and the risk of serious illness is much reduced, however you can still spread the illness.
Therefore, we strongly encourage you to wear a mask and wash your hands upon entering the synagogue facilities.
Anyone with cold-like or flu-like symptoms (runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, cough, and/or difficulty breathing), fever, loss of taste or smell, or any other symptoms consistent with COVID-19 should not come to Torat Emet.
Children under vaccination age should wear masks at all times while indoors at Torat Emet and remain with a parent or be at a children’s group. This does not apply to children 2 years old and younger.
We recognize that the current situation remains fluid and we will continue to monitor the evolving information and update our recommendations as-needed.

We were built for this. Nearly a century ago, Jews everywhere found themselves in search of anywhere they could call home. But today, our global Jewish community is one of unmatched strength, inspiring leadership and historic partnerships. Here in Columbus, we model this tradition; and while our community may not look the same as they did decades, months or even days ago, JewishColumbus remains uniquely qualified to meet its ever-evolving needs head-on. Our Jewish future is strong, powerful and vibrant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j6YOk8FaBwI&feature=youtu.be
Jewish Community Memorial Service SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 4:00 PM AT PERFORMANCE PARKWAY CEMETERIES This past year has been a difficult year for our community. The loss of so many community members was compounded by our inability to gather in person to bury the dead, comfort the living and pay tribute to our lost loved ones. Join us as we gather to memoralize those we lost from March, 2020 through Summer 2021.
