Urge Congress to Oppose Efforts to Block Arms Sale to Israel TAKE ACTION
As rockets rain down on Israelis, resolutions to block a proposed U.S. arms sale to Israel are expected to be introduced in both the House and Senate today.
This sale has been approved by the Biden administration. Blocking this sale would reward Hamas’s strategy, weaken America and Israel, and increase civilian casualties in a future conflict.
The U.S. must continue to stand with Israel. The arms in question are crucial to ensuring Israel can protect itself from future threats posed by Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran.
Please contact your members of Congress and strongly urge them to oppose any attempt to block the arms sale to our ally and partner Israel.
In these times of crisis, our hearts are with Israel and the Jewish Nation more than ever, כעם אחד בלב אחד -- as one nation with one heart. Take Action for Israel

Updated Mask Guidelinesfor those attending services at Torat Emet Starting this Shabbat masks will be optional in the close-seating areas of the main sanctuary. This is based on current CDC guidelines. Masks will be required in the 6-foot distanced areas at the back of the sanctuary and in the balcony. If you are not vaccinated or are immunocompromised, we strongly suggest that you wear a mask and sit in one of these two areas. Hand washing is still required when you enter the shul.
Current Seating Policy
Dear Members,
Thankfully more people are wishing to return to shul. In order to accommodate everyone’s needs and comfort we are going to have the following options. We will have areas for those individuals who wish or need to sit 6 feet apart from each other as well as an area for those who wish/need to sit closer to one another.
In order to accommodate as many individuals in shul as possible we ask that you register prior to coming so that we can make sure we have enough space for everyone. We also ask that you sit only in the chairs marked with a sticker whether or not you are part of a family unit so we can plan accordingly.
We are considering various options for welcoming children younger than 12 to shul. For now, if you wish to bring your younger child to shul and feel that your child can sit with you the entire time please contact Rabbi Zack or Rabbi Neuman.
It should be noted that even though the vast majority of our members who are attending shul have been vaccinated there is still a risk factor for each individual, especially those who remain unvaccinated. Please take this into account in making your decision to come to shul and in choosing your seating. We are thrilled to have you back in shul.
