The Jewish community has thrived for millenia on its intimacy and close connections. While we will be physically apart for the foreseeable future, we will strive to maintain our emotional and spiritual bonds during this time. Below you will find links to join daily Shacharit, Mincha-Maariv, Torat Emet Class Schedule, and Rabbi Neuman's new Podcast on Minor Biblical Characters. May our learning and prayer help bring
us back together soon.

Main Event Fundraiser
Dear Torat Emet Friends,
Tonight we would have been celebrating our Annual Main Event Gala. Postponing the Main Event was painful, but necessary. The evening is always such a pleasure – good friends, good food, good entertainment – and of course, provides for raising much needed funds for the operation of our beloved shul.
Without income from the Main Event, Torat Emet is in a precarious financial situation. An immediate deficit looms. We need to raise as much income as possible now in order to keep our shul operating.
If you did not purchase your tickets/ad for the Main Event, please consider going online or sending a check for the tickets/ad you had planned to purchase. Tickets were $105.00 each and ad prices can be found online or by calling the office. Please – the sooner the better. Because there is no event, the total amount of what you send represents a contribution and is tax deductible as stipulated by law. If you already purchased tickets, please let us know if you wish the purchase to be a donation or if you require a credit on your account.
We are grateful and take solace in the closeness and love of our Main Street family. G-D willing, we will be back together and celebrating soon.
Sincerely,
The Main Event CoChairs

-------------------------------------------------------- Passover Assistance Available for Members of the Community
JewishColumbus has made funds available the JewishColumbus Community Response Fund to provide Kosher for Passover whole chickens to families and individuals who are in need or are feeling or fearful of financial hardship.
JewishColumbus, in partnership with the Columbus Board of Rabbis and the JCC of Greater Columbus, will be distributing the 2-4 chickens per request next week. Details will be forthcoming.
Please notify the office ( office@toratemet.org ), Rabbi Zack ( rabbi@toratemet.org ) or Rabbi Neuman ( rabbineuman@toratemet.org ) if you would like to sign up for yourself or with the names of others that you think should be included.
LifeCare Alliance is delivering free frozen kosher meals to seniors 60 and over. Lifecare Alliance purchases these meals from a kosher food distributor. There are also kosher for Passover meals but they are extremely limited, so if you know anyone who will need a kosher for Passover meal, they will need to know ASAP. Non Passover meals can be delivered up until Passover.
Anyone interested should call LifeCare Alliance (614) 278-3130.
We want to stress that calling as soon as possible is crucial so that LifeCare Alliance can have a better idea of possible turn over time.
Jewish Family Services has a number of senior and Holocaust Survivor clients that are in need of toilet paper. If you are able to share a roll or two, or a small package, our clients will greatly appreciate it. Many do not have the ability to buy in bulk, so depend on having their shoppers pick up a package as they need it. Please feel free to email
Meri King at Jewish Family Services if you are able to donate at MKing@jfscolumbus.org . They will be accepting donations at the JFS Building, 1070 College Avenue, across from the JCC on Tuesday, March 31st from 9:30 to 12:30pm if you are able to drop off your donation, or one of the case managers can come to you and pick it up.
Torat Emet is excited to be part of the Life & Legacy Initiative sponsored by the Howard Grinspoon Foundation and Jewish Columbus. The objective is building endowments to help ensure our Jewish future for generations to come.

Important Wexner Center Update
Beginning tomorrow, Friday March 20, the medical center will not be allowing any visitors at its hospital centers. If you need to deliver any kosher food to patients, we will be able to help you arrange delivery. Just contact the Torat Emet office and we will connect you with someone at OSU.
The City of Bexley would appreciate your help in identifying those in need and willing volunteers during this COVID-19 crisis. If you are a Bexley resident, and are in need of assistance or are able to provide aid, please fill out the applicable survey (see below for links). Furthermore, please assist Bexley residents in completing the appropriate survey if they are unable to do so independently. Those who have already filled out the survey do not need to do so again. These surveys will also be available on Bexley’s website, social media, and included in the quarterly newsletter. For questions or concerns, please contact the City’s Volunteer Coordinator at (614) 559-4200 or eellman@bexley.org .
The High Street Community is a project sponsored by Jonathan and Nicole Schottenstein, and led by Rabbi Ari Neuman, for young professionals looking for meaningful Jewish experiences and fun ways to meet other young Jewish adults. The program's goal is to help its participants learn about Judaism in a way that is exciting, enjoyable, open, and welcoming to others no matter their background.
For more information, or to sign up for HSC events and e-mails, please contact Rabbi Neuman at rabbineuman@toratemet.org
or call the office at 614-238-6778.

Message from the Kroger Kosher Dept
Dear Valued Customer,
The Kosher Dept is working hard to stay stocked with meat and chicken. Due to the sudden increase in demand, and the fact they have to order a week ahead, they were unable to increase their chicken order for today.
In an effort to make sure everybody has what they need for Shabbos, please only buy what you need for Shabbos.
The Kosher Dept has placed a much bigger order for Monday and next Thursday in an effort to keep up with the demand.
There is a limit of 3 fresh meat items per customer.
If we are considerate of all members of the community, everybody will be able to have what they need for Shabbos, and also what they need for Passover.
Thank you for your understanding.

Important Message from the
Columbus Board of Rabbis and JewishColumbus "May ALL Who Are Hungry Come And Eat!"
Every year we begin our Passover holiday with these words as we welcome family and friends to join us for Seder.
This year Passover will be unlike any in our lifetime.
Many who planned to travel must now stay home and make Passover for themselves.
We are limited in the size of our seders.
Now more than ever we need to be a Community that makes sure that everyone has enough to eat and can make Passover for themselves.
How can you help?
If you have downsized your guest list (by recommendation of the government) and/or have less people staying with you for Passover, please share your Passover provisions with others who may need.
When shopping for Passover food, please only purchase what you need.
DO NOT HOARD. There will be enough for all if you only purchase what you need.
Jewish Columbus and the Board of Rabbis and the JCC are currently working getting more supplies here in Columbus.
We realize that these are stressful times for everyone. It is incumbent upon all of us to try to bring out the best in each other. Let’s strive for even greater consideration and cooperation and grow together as a community.
Thank you
