SHABBAT MORNING PROGRAMMING

Kindercongregaton

Held for our pre-school - kindergarten aged children, Kindercongregation serves or our youngest members on Shabbat morning.  Under the capable leadership of Rabbi Ari Neuman, this extraordinary program features age-appropriate tefillah, supervision, kiddush with snacks, and games and activities that bring the parshah to life for every child in the room.

We welcome you to join us for Shabbat and peek your head into our dedicated early education room to see first hand our bright and beautiful space, child bathroom, and extensive collection of toys and books.

We are hoping to start a tot shabbat on a monthly basis to engage kids and parents together.

grades 1-5

Youth groups for grades 1-5 are ably led by synagogue teens.  Under the capable leadership of Ari Neuman, our Assistant Rabbi, our young children are provided with a warm and nurturing and safe atmosphere to celebrate Shabbat.  Featuring tefillah, supervised play, and kiddush with a small snack and dvar torah, our groups allow children to experience the joy of Shabbat in the safety of the synagogue environment.

grades 6-8

Children in 6th-8th grade are encouraged to gather on the balcony and join the shul in davening the Musaf Services.

teens

Our teens have many ways to connect with the shul and with each other on Shabbat. Whether it is helping lead younger children in groups,  davening in the Main Shul, or just enjoying each other's company at kiddush, teens look forward to Shabbat morning at Torat Emet all week long!

Teen Cholent! It's back!  Teen cholent takes place every other week during kiddush in the Youth Lounge.

New this year! Teen Mincha Takeover  happens once a month at Torat Emet.  Teens from 6-12th grade gather together in the shul to lead services and read from the Torah.  All community teens are welcome!

Check the shul calendar or with Rabbi Neuman for the next teen cholent or teen mincha, you don't want to miss them!
