A Note From Our President
A Note From Our President
Welcome to Congregation Torat Emet, The Main Street Shul!
Betsey Lane
President, Congregation Torat Emet
Betsey, her husband Bob (z”tl), and their daughter Danielle, are 2001 founding members of Congregation Torat Emet.
Congregation Torat Emet excels as a warm, engaging shul embracing modern orthodoxy, enthusiastically supporting Israel and the greater Columbus Jewish community. It is a privilege to be part of such a consequential organization.
This year’s Board of Directors looks forward to continuing our post-pandemic momentum. Our outstanding member community assures meaningful daily davening and holiday observance. We have scheduled scholars in residence to increase our awareness and knowledge and to challenge us to be our best selves. We are particularly looking forward to celebrating Israel’s diamond anniversary – 75 years since the founding of our modern Jewish state!
As 5783 unfolds, I am excited to develop our shul and partner with the greater community in living our Torah values – focused on working together for olam chesed yibaneh.
