When a loved one dies, Torat Emet provides many valuable services to its members. Rabbi Zack will meet with the relatives to help guide them through this difficult time by discussing funeral plans and any other concerns they might have. Rabbi Epstein will arrange with the chevra kadisha to make sure that the deceased is respectfully prepared for a proper burial. The congregation will help the mourner in setting appropriate shiva minyanin, and the chesed committee will assist in providing meals for the mourner and his or her family.
