Junior MSY is for children in grades 6 through 8. This group meets regularly for fun and meaningful activities. Programs range from a Shabbat afternoon oneg, to a motzei Shabbat movie, to a Sunday afternoon outing. Whatever is planned, our youth always have a great time together. There are three annual Junior NCSY regional Shabbatonim for Junior MSY members to attend. Shabbatonim give the children a chance to meet and make friends with Jewish teens from other cities, discuss issues of common interest, and have fun. In addition, a chesed project is always part of a shabbaton.
A favorite youth pastime is rooting for a sports team. Both Senior and Junior MSY have taken trips to see the Columbus Crew (major league soccer), Bluejackets (NHL hockey), Clippers (minor league baseball) and the Cleveland Browns.
