Rabbi Binyamin Lehrfield - new Rabbinic Intern from Yeshiva University.
Main Street welcomes Rabbi Binyamin Lehrfield, Rabbinic Intern from Yeshiva University. Binyamin will be visiting Main Street many times throughout the year, to work with our congregation and to learn from Rabbi Zack. Midwestern born, Binyamin is originally from Chicago. After graduating from YU with a BA in Economics, he spent the last few years working with college and high school students at the Yeshiva University Center for the Jewish Future on leadership training and service learning. In addition, he spent sevaral years as a counselor at Camp Stone and as Youth Director at Lincoln Square Synagogue. In addition to his rabbinic studies, Binyamin is continuing his professional growth both at Baruch College where he is pursuing his MBA in Finance and at Azrieli Graduate School where he is pursuing his MA in Jewish Education. Binyamin loves sports, hiking, and is really excited about being a part of the Torat Emet community. Binyamin’s first visit to Torat Emet will be September 26. |
